VOICE LESSONS
Singing is a wonderful journey: embark on the path that leads to your vocal joy! Valentina’s lessons focus on different areas based on your singing experience and goals: exploring your potential to sing and expressing yourself through the sound of your voice; building and improving your vocal and performance technique; interpreting, creating your unique singing style.
Sessions are specifically designed based on the needs and goals of each single student. All lessons cover breathing and posture, intonation, strengthening of chest, mix and head voice, articulation, placement, vocal attacco, enunciation, interpretation, repertoire, improvement of resonance, microphone technique, stage presence, delivery of the story, style. Scat singing for jazz and blues vocalists, Italian diction for opera singers.
PIANO LESSONS
Wether you are passionate about classical music, want to learn how to read and play a piece of music or wish to accompany yourself while singing a Beatles song, Valentina’s lessons are perfectly designed for you! If you are an absolute beginner, she will teach you the foundation of piano theory while having you play simple pieces from the very first lesson. If you have already taken piano lessons before, this is your opportunity to take your piano playing to the next level.
Miss Marino’s lessons focus on keyboard techniques and theory for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Miss Marino has designed and taught specific lessons for vocalists with no prior piano skills, enabling them to accompany themselves.
Classes, Workshops and Instruments taught: Choir, rhythm, music theory, rhythm and musical notation, music and movement, ear training, songwriting, arranging, sight singing, vocal improvisation, interpretation, stage presence, repertoire, voice, piano, acoustic guitar, xylophone, recorder, percussions.

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Vocal Jazz Performance - The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music New York City, NY. Specific academic courses and credits achieved: Alexander Technique, Voice Pedagogy, Music Therapy. Diploma in Jazz, Voice and Piano - University of Music, Rome, Italy.
VOICE MASTERCLASSES: attended master classes with legendary jazz artists Sheila Jordan, Janet Lawson, Reggie Workman, and Barry Harris.
LANGUAGES WRITTEN AND SPOKEN: Proficient in English and German, basic Spanish and Portuguese, Italian (native speaker).
